The Scriptures say “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in Him (that He was born of a virgin, died on a cross for our sins, and was raised again on the third day) shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Today, you can actually know God, the One who created everything including you and loves you so much that He made a way for you to know Him. The Scriptures also say that “if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, then we shall be saved” Romans 10:8-10.
It’s as simple as asking Him to forgive your sins, give you a brand new start today and His purpose for your life. If you’re tired of just existing and are ready to truly start living, just pray to Him with your heart. He promises that whoever calls on His name WILL be saved. Although it isn’t just the repeating of a prayer but the sincerity of the one calling on Him, if you’re ready to give your heart to the One who loved you before time began, or if you have made a commitment before and have gotten off course and want to rededicate your commitment to Jesus, you can pray the prayer below:
“Dear Jesus. I ask you to forgive me of my sins, to save me from myself, and give me Your purpose and plans for my future. Thank You, for coming for me, thank You for dying for me, thank You for being raised from the dead for me, thank You that You will come again for me. I give You my heart, I give you my life. Create in me a clean heart and a right spirit and lead me in the way You would have me go. I want to be a true follower of You, Lord Jesus, everyday for the rest of my life, and be ready to go with You when You return. In Jesus’ Name. Amen”
Friend, if you prayed that prayer from your heart, then you have made the best decision of your entire life, past, present, and future. Congratulations! I want to be the first to say “Welcome to the Family of God”. Please drop me a line and let me know of your decision.
